2. Coming Soon – a new La Maison Pacifique video

There is nothing like a proper tour of our beautiful home and whilst we can’t offer that to everyone, we can offer the next best thing – a new video.  We know you love seeing a video in real time so you can get the true atmosphere of staying at La Maison Pacifique.  In mid November, we will be releasing a new updated video on La Maison Pacifique, so remember to check the website http://www.lamaisonpacifique.com around the 15th.

3. Byron Bay BluesFest

 The owners have booked La Maison Pacifique for the Easter break (sorry!) – but it is a great opportunity for them to enjoy the BluesFest (http://www.bluesfest.com.au)!  Some good news though –  as their property consultant, I have a number of new listings so if you are looking for a place to stay during that time, please contact me at info@lamaisonpacifique.com. 

The 2013 BluesFest promises to be fantastic with the recent announcement of a whole range of new artists including Robert Plant, Status Quo, Roger Hodgson (ex Supertramp) and Jon Anderson (Yes).  With Bonnie Rait, Chris Isaak and Joan Armatrading also listed it is surely one not to be missed!  You can get your tickets on line at http://www.bluesfest.com.au. 

4. Dinner at Fins

The owners recently enjoyed a fantastic dinner at Fins (http://www.fins.com.au)!  With Stephen and Megan recently back from their trip to Portugal it was a great opportunity to enjoy their hospitality. A new favourite for Chris was the Tian of Tuna Sashimi whilst Sally really enjoyed the Lemon Mytle Native Finger Lime Pannacotta.  The fish served at Fins is truly fresh and with the addition of their new Earth menu, a great range of choices to suit all tastes. 

5. Caba Bakehouse

Nothing beats the delights of that first bite into the fresh, sweet custard, crisp puff pastry and the rich cream of a traditional vanilla slice.  However, at Caba Bakehouse, there is not just one choice – but three!  We challenge you to try each one and pick your favourite choice of icings – passionfruit, chocolate or traditional plain…mmm… 

Also at the “Caba” is a great selection of yummy pies and pasties and they can be relied upon for a fresh selection of breads – including a number of specialty varieties.  A Caba Bakehouse visit is a must for every trip – 3/51 Tweed Coast Road, Cabarita Beach, 2488.

6. Australian Tourism Directions Conference

To be held at Parliament House in Canberra  on 1 November 2012, it will deliver national and international research and insights on Australian tourism’s performance as well as a strategic vision for the industry’s long term future – tickets $300
